Columbus Writing Examiner

I applied to Examiner and was accepted.  I am now the Columbus Writing Examiner! Examiner is somewhat like Hubpages where you earn for page views and ad views. I am writing about writing, lol which is a passion of mine. So far I have only received two page views on one article but I have just started so at least it is a start. Examiner is supposed to have its perks too where you get more exposure and can find new writing clients through it. That is what I am hoping to achieve writing there. A Few Thoughts

First of all, Postloop Portal: If you are going to join you have to do your first 10 posts to get reviewed to see if you get to earn money posting in the separate forums. It is not hard to do. You just do 10 posts on Postloop Portal and wait 24 hours to be reviewed. Then, they give you a rating and you start posting in the other forums. Make sure you subscribe to them also or you won't get your posts and without points, you don't earn any money. So if you join you actually do have to do a little bit of work at first and you have to keep doing quality posts or your rating will go down and you will lose points.

Secondly, Have you joined Hubpages? Hubpages is a self published website that allows you to write on any topic you want to write about. You earn from Google Adsense, the Hubpages ad program, eBay and Amazon. It is an easy way to earn a little bit of money on the side. Check out the Hub I just published a little while ago about copywriting.

Third, what are you doing to earn money this New Year? I write and that is what I do because I love it. I have a few private clients that I earn decent money from. I do BMR writing, eBook writing, article writing, article comments, Postloop Portal, my blogs and Hubpages. I lost my titling job through Demand Studios and I don't even care. It got really boring and I started to hate it. I had to force myself to work every day and I don't like that. I want to enjoy my work. I do this full time so why not enjoy it, right?

Another Payment From Postloop Portal!

I forgot to post but last week I received another payment from Postloop Portal! Another easy $10 in my Paypal account. Read my earlier posts to find out all about Postloop Portal and how you can sign up to post in forums, have fun and make money at the same time.

Also, three places I recommend signing up for and applying to work are Odesk, Elance and Guru. I have two jobs through Odesk and one through Guru so far. I had a job through Elance but had to file a dispute to get paid from the employer so I don't work that job anymore. However, I still look for work on there because not everyone is like the person who tried to steal my work without paying.

Here are some tips:

Make sure the employer has a good feedback score and that they are not new and have paid people already.

Write a professional cover letter to apply to jobs.

Big high and what you think you are worth. Stay away from the jobs where they are interviewing people for low rates because they will want to get away with paying as low as possible. Just bid what you think you are worth and if they want quality work, they will contact you for an interview.

Be professional and only bid on jobs where you know you will be able to do the work in the time frame they want it done. Don't just be a happy bidder and bid on jobs just because you want to. You want a good feedback score from your clients so you can get even better jobs in the future.

Remember all of these tips and go find that great job!

Falling to sleep like a princess in my canopy bed

When I was a little girl, I remember going over to my cousin's house and seeing that she had a canopy bed, just like a princess! I always wanted one after that and I never had one. Well, it's about time that I give my bedroom a makeover, so I decided to buy myself a canopy bed and finally sleep just like a princess. Sometimes when I come home after a hard day of work I really feel ilke I need to feel jsut a little bit like a princess.

I decided to get some other princess-like decorating tips that would keep me from looking like I have a little girl's bedroom and when I was doing that I saw the site homeproimprovement.com. When I looked through that some I decided to use them to redo my ktichen cabinets, which was something that I was going to do for myself for Christmas anyway.

I found some really great floral drapes onleni that I decided to use for my windows in my bedroom, along with a mirrored vanity and stool that are just to die for!

Happy New Year, A New Years Resolution

So the new year is upon us once again. Wow, where did the time go? So this year will make 5 years of freelance writing for me. I have been a freelance content writer for 5 years now and have been a freelance BMR writer for only a few short months. I do believe it is time for something new and more exciting. That is why I have decided to make 2012 the best year ever by letting my creativity shine through in my writing and making the money I am actually worth. I am going to become a copywriter.

Here is my deal to anyone reading this to not only gain the experience but to get my first client. Postloop Portal: Get Paid to Post in Forums! They Paid Me!

It has been a long time since I had anything to post about since I have only been doing only titling for Demand Studios. I found something that is worth posting about and wanted to share it with everyone who reads this. It is called Postloop Portal and they will pay you to post in different forums through the Portal. Here is how it works!

First you have to go to the Postloop Portal and sign up for free. Then you go by their instructions which tell you to first subscribe to the Postloop Portal. After subscribing to them, you will then need to make 10 posts in their forum. Once you are done making those 10 posts, you have to wait up to 24 hours to see if you have been approved to post in other forums and get paid. It takes UP to 24 hours but it only took them an hour to approve me. They will give you a rating from 1-5 and the rating you get will depend on how you make your posts. Try to make your posts at least 3 sentences long with no grammar or spelling errors. Also, once you get a rating, depending on how high it is will tell you how much per point you make per post. I was approved at 4.7 and I earn 5 cents a point. I have already made 200 posts and have made $10 from them. You can cash out at 100 points which depending on your rating and earning level, will probably be $5. I waited until I got to $10 because they do take a 37 cent fee out when they pay you. So I earned $9.41.

Here are some tips:

Like I said, try to make your posts at least 3 sentences long with no spelling or grammar mistakes.

Once approved to post in forums, you will then be given a list of other forums to sign up for and post in. Try to post in different forums and spread your posts around.

There are some forums that have post limits. Some of them are unlimited and some of them pay an extra 10% per point. I post in one forum where I get double points. There are a lot of gaming forums.

Refer other people and you will earn 20% of their earnings!

Most of all, this is a fun way to make some extra money during your work break or just whenever you are online with nothing else to do. It is very addicting and fun! Here is the link again:  Postloop Portal

No More Mahalo Guru

A bunch of us who were answering questions for Mahalo got cut from the job. I am pretty bummed about it but I have a lot of other jobs to do every day anyway so I am not going to lose any sleep over it. It was a fun job while it lasted but oh well. I really didn't have much time to put into it anyway since I have titling and other gigs I do. We were told that Mahalo Guru was slowing down because of what is going on with Google. We were given a chance to take a survey to let them know what our expertise were but I didn't fill it out. I am not even going to try to get contacted back. While it was a fun job, I don't have time for it. I will miss the little side gig but it is fine.

Not much to write about tonight besides that. I am still doing titling for Demand Studios and am trying to get back to writing for Hubpages and AC. I got into Bright Hub and am waiting on them to have some articles that I can write about up for me to claim. Other than that I am mostly writing in my other two blogs, Rambling Thoughts and Living With Depression since I don't have much to say in this blog lately. Mahalo Pays

I got paid by Mahalo for answering questions. I started late in the month so I only got $17 for 15 questions since I did a couple of bonus questions that were worth a little more. I love being a Mahalo Guru! It is so much fun and if you do enough questions every day you can earn good money. I am trying to get to 20 questions a day for $1.25 a question since I do the bonus questions.

With all of the income I have coming in now with titling for Demand Studios, writing articles and Mahalo Guru questions, I should be able to get our bills paid up and buy a few things for the house. We are also planning on getting a new trailer that my husband's cousin has for sale. It is bigger than the one we have now and I want it so bad.

Anyway, I have to get back to work but I wanted to post that Mahalo does pay and they pay on time and well. They pay twice a month so the money builds up.

Mahalo Guru

I got another new job last week but haven't had the time to post about until now. I am now a Mahalo Guru! I answer questions for Mahalo for $1 per question. If you remember my post about ChaCha, then you will remember I also work for them answering questions but I haven't done much of ChaCha in a while since I have other jobs that pay more and I enjoy them more than ChaCha. The thing about ChaCha is that it is really stressful since it is so fast paced and you have to be careful how you answer questions because you get graded on them. So I would rather do Titling and writing for Demand Studios and the other various sites I write for and now I answer questions for Mahalo. Answering questions for Mahalo is so much fun but you are not going to get rich doing it and here is why:

Each of your answers have to be 125 words long at least
You have to research questions if you cannot answer the questions from experience
You have to cite your sources

However, it is a fun little gig to have on the side and if you know the answers to the questions you are answering then you don't have to put too much time into research. You can answer any questions you want but I mostly do coupon questions because, to me, they are the easiest to research and answer.

I had to apply twice to get this job because the first time I applied I forgot to send them my writing portfolio. You don't have to have a writing portfolio but you do have to send them a writing sample. I waited over a week after I applied the first time with no response and noticed other people on a forum I frequent were getting accepted and I wondered why I hadn't yet. So I went back to the application and applied again this time with my writing portfolio and the next day I got my acceptance email! I was doing a happy dance!

When you first start you have to do a few questions and let them review your answers before you can work full time for them. They said no more than 10 questions at first. I did 3 one night, which took me an hour because I just started, and the next day I was going to do 7 more because I thought you had to do the 10 before you got in full time. Well the next morning before I even got a chance to do the rest of the questions, I received an email letting me know how good my answers were and that I was fully approved! The email was awesome because they said my answers were excellent, well researched and written! Made me feel good.

Hubpages

Has anyone heard of Hubpages? It is a site where you can write anything you want and earn money from it through Google Adsense, Amazon Affiliates, Google Analytics and Kontera.. A lot of people are making good money from Hubpages but they have been at it for a while. Apparently, the trick is to write what you want but also what people want to read to get traffic from Google and other major search engines and then if they click on a Google ad or purchase something from Amazon through your page, you make money. Some people are making $1,000 a month and more. However, keep in mind, they have been at it for a while and know all of the tricks.

So I signed up about two months ago and I am getting decent traffic. I only have 5 articles or Hubs up so far but my plan is to submit one a day and see how it works out for me. I am also going to start backlinking my Hubs with my blog posts and see how well that gets me traffic and clicks. Work for ChaCha and make money online!

I used to be a writer and was making good money but I decided to look for something else because I was tired of writing articles every day. I searched and searched and couldn't find anything and then I found ChaCha! ChaCha is a free answering service where people can text in their question and get their answer really fast. What makes ChaCha so good is that not only do you get a fast answer but it is free for the customer to use.

Different guides make different amounts of money depending on what their job is. Expeditors, which is what I am make 2 cents a question, Voice transcribers make 3 cents a question and Generalists/Specialists make 10 to 20 cents a question. All roles make about the same per hour because of how easy or hard their job is. In my opinion, the Expeditor role is the easiest because we field the questions for the Generalists/Specialists. All Expeditors have to do is take a question that comes in and either answer it with previously asked questions, finders, clippables, or Quick Answers or we edit the question and send it to a Generalist/Specialist. The job is so easy and even though we only make 2 cents a question, the money really adds up. I have made almost $1,000 in two months. The more you work the more you make.

Here is how the Voice transcribers job works for 3 cents a question. People call in to ChaCha instead of texting their question in and the Voice transcribers take the calls and type out the questions. I don't know much more about it since I have never done it before because I am an Expeditor.

Generalists/Specialists make 10 to 20 cents a question because they have the hardest job of all. They have to research the question and find the answer. If you like to research, this would be a good job for you but if you don't like to research, Expeditor would be a better job.

If you want to apply you will have to take a few tests before you can take on one of these jobs. Go to www.becomeaguide.chacha.com and register. You will then have to choose which job you want and take a short test to see if you are a good fit. Then if you pass that test you go on to the training videos and you have to watch the mandatory videos before you take the main test. Once you watch all mandatory videos, I think there are three of them, you will then be prompted to go to universe.chacha.com to take the Readiness Test. You only get one chance to pass the test so make sure you are ready. Deal Barbie Pays Fast is a program like Treasure Trooper and Cash Crate. The name says it all because they really do pay fast. I have been paid by them several times. When you do offers for them, they usually credit pretty fast too! This is one fast site! Minimum payout through Paypal is $1 and $5 through Amazon gift card. Earn from your referrals too!

Do you know the trick to getting these offers to approve fast? There are a few tricks. One is by downloading Ccleaner and using it to get rid of junk files. The second way is by emptying your browsing history in between doing each and every offer. The third trick is by using the gmail trick. What is the gmail trick? Let me show you an example. You create a new gmail account just for junk mail when doing these offers. You can have as many gmail accounts as you want. Free Money Making Program

I have been doing some thinking and I decided to go back to Marketing Pond where I first started out. Not only is it free to join but all of the programs, with the condition of one, are free to join and earn with. I have already made money with all of the programs, except for the newest one, so I have decided to go back to it. It is a promising program with an admin that cares for her members. She cars so much that if even on program she adds to the list messes up in any way at all, she deletes that program and pulls us all out. The other day I got my second pay from Hits4Pay. $25! Not bad for viewing ads for a few seconds. I have been with Hits4Pay for a couple of years now and this is only my second payout.
